Our method

Why the dust comes back two days later

If your house looks clean on Monday and dusty on Wednesday, the dust was never removed โ€” it was moved. A dry cloth pushes dust into the air, and the air puts it back where it started. That one detail is most of the difference between a surface clean and a real one, and it is the reason we work the way we do.

  1. Step 1

    The wet-and-dry method

Every surface gets a wet pass and a dry pass. The wet pass removes dust instead of relocating it.

A dry cloth pushes dust into the air, and the air puts it back on your furniture within about two days. That is why a house can look clean on Monday and dusty on Wednesday. We run a wet pass first, which lifts and holds the dust rather than launching it, then a dry pass. The light residue left behind acts as a dust repellent, so surfaces stay clean measurably longer. Disinfecting is built into the same motion โ€” it is not a separate step we might run out of time for.

  2. Step 2

    Three-pass floor washing

Water pass, pH-balanced pass, final pass. One pass moves dirty water around a floor. Three passes clean it.

Mopping once with one bucket spreads dissolved dirt evenly across the floor and calls it clean. We run three passes: a water pass to lift and remove the bulk, a pH-balanced pass matched to the flooring so finishes are not stripped or dulled, and a final pass that leaves nothing behind to dry into a film.

  3. Step 3

    Color-coded cloths

Green for kitchens, blue for bathrooms. No cloth ever crosses between the two.

Cross-contamination between a bathroom and a kitchen is the failure nobody sees and everybody would care about. Our cloths are color-coded โ€” green for kitchens, blue for bathrooms โ€” and they never cross. The system is visible, which means it does not depend on anyone remembering, and it means you can watch it working.

  4. Step 4

Single-use mop heads and bathroom microfiber

Mop heads are single-use for pet homes and bathroom work. Bathroom cloths are never reused.

This is the single largest supply expense in the business. It would be easy to relax and nearly impossible for a customer to detect if we did. We have deliberately not relaxed it. Mop heads are single-use for pet homes and bathroom work, and bathroom microfiber is never reused between homes.

  5. Step 5

    We move things

Furniture gets moved, upholstery gets vacuumed, and everything goes back where it was.

Cleaning around an object is not cleaning. Furniture gets moved, the floor underneath gets washed, upholstery gets vacuumed, and everything goes back exactly where it was. This is the part that takes the extra time, and it is the part you will notice.

We don't just wipe it, we wash it.

There are two kinds of cleaning services. Surface cleaners wipe what they can reach and move nothing. Thorough cleaners move the furniture, wash the surfaces, and disinfect as they go. We are the second kind, and it is not a premium tier โ€” it is the only tier we offer.

We do use non-toxic, EPA-approved products that are safe around children and pets โ€” but so does everyone else in this county, and it is not why your house will look different. The method above is why.

Our standards

You are handing a stranger your keys. Here is what we do about that.

Every cleaning service says it is trustworthy. These are four things you can actually see us doing, on every visit, in your home.

  • Clear bags, always

Every team member carries a clear bag. You can see everything that comes into your home and everything that leaves it.

  • Indoor sandals at every home

Team members change into indoor sandals at your door. Nothing from the last house comes into yours.

  • Individual sealed kits

Each team member carries their own sealed supply kit. Brushes and hygiene items are never shared between homes.

  • Verified end-of-shift supply count

Every job ends with a verified supply count, borrowed from how surgical teams count instruments before closing.

Questions about how we clean

Why does dust come back two days after my house is cleaned?
Because it was never removed โ€” it was relocated. A dry cloth or a feather duster pushes dust into the air rather than capturing it, and airborne dust resettles onto the surfaces it came from within roughly 48 hours. The house looks clean on Monday and dusty on Wednesday, and nothing was actually taken out of the room. A wet pass lifts and holds the dust instead of launching it.
What is the wet-and-dry method?
Every surface gets two passes. The wet pass lifts and removes dust and applies disinfectant in the same motion. The dry pass finishes the surface and leaves a light residue that acts as a dust repellent, so surfaces stay clean noticeably longer than they do after a dry-only wipe. Because disinfecting happens inside the wet pass, it is never a separate step that gets dropped when a job runs long.
Why wash a floor three times?
One pass with one bucket dissolves the dirt and then spreads it evenly across the floor. We run a water pass to lift and remove the bulk of it, a pH-balanced pass matched to your flooring so finishes are not stripped or dulled over time, and a final pass so nothing is left behind to dry into a film.
What do the colored cloths mean?
Green cloths are for kitchens, blue cloths are for bathrooms, and they never cross. Cross-contamination between those two rooms is the failure a client would never see and would absolutely care about. Making the rule visual means it does not depend on anyone remembering it at hour five of a shift โ€” and it means you can check it yourself.
Do you reuse mop heads and bathroom cloths between homes?
No. Mop heads are single-use for pet homes and bathroom work, and bathroom microfiber is never reused between homes. This is the largest supply expense in the business and the easiest corner to cut invisibly, which is exactly why we have not relaxed it.
Do you move furniture?
Yes. Furniture gets moved, the floor underneath gets washed, upholstery gets vacuumed, and everything goes back where it was. Cleaning around an object is not cleaning it. This is the part that takes the extra time and the part you will notice.
