How we hire

How someone earns the right to enter your home

Most cleaning companies will tell you their staff is vetted and leave it there. Here is the actual process, in order, that every person who works in your home has already completed before they are scheduled.

  1. 1

    First-round screening interview

Every applicant starts with a structured first-round interview conducted by our dedicated interview team. Most candidates do not get past this stage, which is the point of having it.

  2. 2

    Layered background screening

Candidates who advance go through layered screening and background checks before they are ever scheduled near a client home.

  3. 3

    Onboarding video and introduction

Before a first shift, every new team member watches an onboarding video showing exactly who they will meet and which vehicle will pick them up. Nobody arrives at your home on their first day guessing.

  4. 4

    Method training on our standards

New team members are trained on the wet-and-dry method, three-pass floors, the color-coded cloth system, and the end-of-shift supply count before they work unsupervised.

Why we show you this

This process exists whether or not it is on the website. We put it here because β€œour staff is vetted” is a sentence anyone can type, and the specific shape of a hiring funnel is not. If you are comparing us against another quote, this is a fair thing to ask them for.

Our standards

You are handing a stranger your keys. Here is what we do about that.

Every cleaning service says it is trustworthy. These are four things you can actually see us doing, on every visit, in your home.

  • Clear bags, always

Every team member carries a clear bag. You can see everything that comes into your home and everything that leaves it.

  • Indoor sandals at every home

Team members change into indoor sandals at your door. Nothing from the last house comes into yours.

  • Individual sealed kits

Each team member carries their own sealed supply kit. Brushes and hygiene items are never shared between homes.

  • Verified end-of-shift supply count

Every job ends with a verified supply count, borrowed from how surgical teams count instruments before closing.

Common questions

Are your cleaners employees or contractors sent by an app?
They are our team, hired through the process on this page, trained on our method, and briefed on your specific home before they arrive. You are not being matched with whoever accepted the job on a marketplace this morning.
Will I get the same people each visit?
That is what we schedule for. Consistency is the reason recurring clients stay, so we keep the same team on the same homes wherever routing allows, and your household details, preferences, and booking rules stay on file regardless of who is scheduled.
Are team members background-checked?
Yes. Background screening happens before anyone is scheduled near a client home, and it is one layer of several rather than the whole process.
